Patricia Conger Obituary
Macon, GA- Patricia "Patti" Gambino Conger, 65, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Neal Wall officiating. The family will meet friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jay's Hope Foundation, in honor of Will Asbell, 1157 Forysth St., Macon GA 31201.
Mrs. Conger was born in Passiac, New Jersey to the late Louis and Loleta Livingston Gambino. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Conger was a bowling instructor at Gold Cup Bowling and Northside Bowling. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Conger of Macon, three sons, Mark E. Conger of Macon, Todd A. Conger of Savannah, Corey J. (Kim) Conger of Macon, eight grandchildren, one great- granddaughter, and sister, Priscilla Gregory of Marietta.

So sorry to read of Patti's passing. I had recently found out where Patti and Priscilla were living. I remember them well when they were in school in Lumber City before transferring to McRae. Very sweet girls. God bless Patti's family and keep her memories close to your heart.

Todd, Mr Conger, Corey & Mark, I only had the pleasure of talking with Mrs Conger briefly a few times but she was always very sweet. A friend called me this a.m. to ask if I remembered Patti Gambino and to tell me of her passing. How could I ever forget Patti? She was one of the best friends I had during my teens....faithful and true to the core. I can see her now, pulling up in my driveway in that rambling old station wagon, with her hair all poofed up, and holding a cigarette between those incredibly long fingernails while she puffed away (Back then we all thought smoking was so cool). But then, somehow, we lost touch and she slipped away, and I have always wondered what happened to her. I'm sad to know that she was right there in Macon and so near to me, and I never knew it.
Priscilla, my heart goes out to you and your family. I will keep you all in my prayers. I am so very sad today to learn that my old friend has left us.
