Grandma leaves behind a legacy of being a kind, caring and passionate woman. Growing up I didn't get to see Grandma a lot because she lived in Florida and we lived in Tennessee, so I had to make every visit count. Every visit she was eager to chew our ears off about stories of my mom, aunts and Grandpa Bates. The older I got the more I came to appreciate these stories. Patti was one of a kind. When she visited Donna and Mori over the years, they always invited Kim and I to spend time with her. She was so easy to talk with and she never failed to make us laugh (sometimes unbeknown to her, Lol! ). Pattie was so caring and thoughtful. When she resided in Florida, every year she mailed us dish cloths and towels she personally knitted that were holiday and dog themed. We have quite the collection! Love you Patti, you are truly missed.
