Sr Pat remains in my heart and mind as I try to help others be psychologists and scholars. I knew her as my Guidance Counsellor at St Mary HS. She created a place of peace for me when I had no peace and challenged me to keep trying to be my best. She took the time to notice good in me when I could see nothing worth living for. She understood that religion offered me nothing but never tried to persuade me of anything other than to trust my values. She listened as I figured out what they might...

My condolences to her family and all who loved her. Pat was a member of my Class of '60 at SDA in Jersey City. I talked with her a few years ago at a fund raiser for SDA. May she rest in peace.

Sr Pat literally saved my life when I was a student at St Marys, Rutherford. Very sad to hear she has passed. I hope that her last days were peaceful and that what she believed about the hereafter comes true. Condolences to her family. Pat left a lifetime of great work behind her as she touched the lives of 1000s of students and families. What a brilliant, compassionate woman.
