Pat DeKay was a friend to everyone she met. I had the pleasure of being one who participated in an exercise group that she led at the Senior Center in Ignacio. My condolences to her family and friends. May she rest in peace. She earned it. Good bye my friend. Your friend and admirer, Della Zeller.

With a heavy heart, I am truly going to miss Mrs. DeKay. She was a second mom to me and my sisters. Mrs. DeKay was truly a wonderful mom, comforting soul and loving lady. I will hold on to those special memories of her, her home, her kids and her love within my heart. Thank you Mrs. DeKay for being a special women in our lives! The Good Lord has a very special angel in his presence!

Did not know Mrs. deKay personally, but knew several of her boys at Ignacio High School. She must have been quite a lady because she raised some awesome kids. My prayers for the family
