First my sincere sympathy to Patty´s family . Patty and I were weekend partners at UD and became immediate friends . Her love for the students was so profound but not as much as the love she had for her family . She was so proud of everyone and intent on sharing the love . The last time I called her she was her exuberant self-upbeat and fighting and so happy to hear from me ! She made me feel so important as she did everyone . So very sad to hear of Patty's passing, an old neighbor, classmate and friend. Prayers and condolences to the family.

Patty K was a dear friend of my mother's. I remember her and her family as a child at the beach in Ocean City. I pray for the repose of her soul, that she is resting eternally with our Lord. May God bring comfort to her husband, children and family and friends who are grieving at this time.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Please take comfort in the words found at 2nd Thessalonians 2:16,17.
