Aunt Pat was a force, a woman whose presence commanded attention and whose heart was as vast as the love she gave to those fortunate enough to know her. Pat and Bill visited me after I was diagnosed with cancer and was released from the hospital. I was told by the doctor I could not have animals in the house due to the germs they carry. I told Pat and Bill when I went into remission, I was going to get a pack of dachshunds. We all laughed! Well, right before I went into the hospital for a bone marrow transplant I received a beautiful quilt that Pat hade made with 6 dachshunds on it and it said "six dachshunds for Tami". I took that quilt with...

My wife and I only talked with Mrs. Pat a couple of times, but it was like we had been friends for years. She was a very neat person!! She will be missed by all that know her.

I only remember meeting Pat just the once at a company Christmas party and remember she was quite pleasant. More so I remember every so often Bill would bring some of her cooking such as cookies and sugar/savory type snack up to the office. These rarely stuck around very long.

Pat was an excellent teacher. She taught me to sew and endured my ridiculous questions and antics. Pat left too soon but not without making lasting impacts on many.
