Pat was an energetic and personable person. Our family were friends of the Fairfield Riker's. Pat and Don turned the poor farm into the beautiful River Meadow Farm. I spent many happy days and weeks there, house-sitting, horseback riding and hiking the hills behind, attending concerts with Pat. We continued to visit after the farm was sold and her retirement at an advanced age. Good bye, Pat. Sorry I did not get down to visit this year because of the pandemic, but glad we spoke by phone...

I am so sad to hear of this wonderful woman's passing. Hers was a familiar name in RE when I first lived in Vermont over 30 years ago. In 2019 I had the privilege of staying with Pat at her beautiful home a few times, while I made plans to relocate back to Vermont to retire and buy a home. She was still delightful and sponky at 92, being the hostess, cooking breakfast, giving good advice and just providing wonderful down-home company.
