DEER CREEK - Patricia K. Fields, age 65, of Deer Creek passed away on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at her home.
Patricia was born on March 5, 1948, in Peoria, Ill., to William Irvin and Katherine Janet (Herter) Perdun. She married Richard Glynn Fields on Sept. 30, 1966, in Fort Polk, La.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard; her children, Tammy (Donald) Wolfram of Peoria, Ill., Wendy (Kevin) Snider of Peoria, Ill., David (Deanna) Fields of Peoria, Ill., and Brian (Angela Ham) Fields of Hopewell, Ill.; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Jerry Perdun of Peoria; and her sister, Bettyann Schneider of West Peoria, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Patricia was a loving wife and an incredible mother. She had a uniqueness about her that could make anyone smile. If you knew her, you were truly blessed. She said her greatest accomplishments in life were her marriage and her four children. Her treasures were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lived her life making sure the people around her were comfortable and happy. She never met a stranger and could easily get the shyest person to talk. If you needed her, she would be there, nothing could stop her. She was fearless when she needed to be and yet she was caring beyond words. Her family always came first! She touched many lives and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a graveside service will be Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Patricia's mother, Katherine, to any local cancer society or association.
