Not sure what to say?

The Gaul's
I just heard about your mom and I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy all of you. It seems like just yesterday we were running the halls of BG ourselves. Your mom was a great woman and role model to us all. May god be with you all through this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers will be for you and your families.

To the Gaul family-
I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a wonderful woman. May you find comfort in your memories.

To the Gaul Children,
I was a friend of your Dad's and Your Uncle Don's. We used to go on fishing trips together in the 60's and 70's. I was so sorry to hear about your Mom I only met her a few times many years ago but she was such a lovely person. My condolences

To Pat's Family and Friends,
Our deepest sympathy to you at this time of loss. We loved Pat's enthusiastic smile, caring attitude and her never ending helpfulness. She truly represented the goodness in Buffalo Grove High School. Her kindness will never be forgotten. We will miss her dearly.

The Schoffstall Family

Pat's family-You have lost a wonderful mother and sister and friend, as has the BG family also has lost an efficient, helpful, and caring worker and friend. I will always remember Pat seated behind her desk and ready to serve teachers and sponsors in whatever their needs for each day might be. I was one of those people always running late, and I appreciated how Pat could get my business taken care of so quickly. Her laughter also added to the process-what a wonderful spirit. Be comforted by...

To Pat's Family,
I was saddened to hear of your mom passing away. It has been many years since I've seen her, but the memories of her at B.G. and in the Greenbrier neighborhood will stay with me forever. She is one fine lady that can never be replaced. Our sons Michael and Greg always talked about Mrs. Gaul as their favorite hall monitor.
I was also surprised read that she grew up in N.Y. not far from where my husband and I were raised.
Through these difficult days ahead,...

My deepest sympathy is extended to all of Pat's loved ones. Pat's desk at BGHS was situated near the school vault. During my daily morning routine to pick up my cash box from the vault, Pat and I would exchange our "good mornings." Invariably, I'd stop and chat. Her Niagara Falls screen saver caught my eye. We'd come to know we both grew up in the State of New York; Pat from the west end of the state and I from the east end near West Point along the Hudson River Valley. We shared the love of...

To Pat's Family,
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have been fortunate to know this wonderful lady for over twenty years, and although we were not officially family members, Pat made all of us feel like family. No matter how busy she was, she always had time to address whatever need you had. That probably explains why she was often at her desk late in the evening, or on a weekend. It is difficult to imagine B.G.H.S. without Pat. May God bless you during this...

Pat,
I will dearly miss you and all the many hours of talk we had at your desk after school in regards to every possible topic there was to talk about, but nothing better than Notre Dame of course. You were a great listener and had a way of putting life in perspective and giving me back the sanity. You epitomized the Bison Spirit and all the good things that BGHS represents with your smile, laughter, and genuine concern for others. I was really looking forward to moving into my new...
