Not sure what to say?

Patty Geraghty was the most wonderful 1st grade teacher and human being. Her smile lit up the world. Even after my daughter Brittain was no longer her student, I volunteered by doing silhouettes of each student. She loved celebrating her students. I dreamt of Patty last night, and we will plant a tree in her honor on our property here in Blaine, Wa.

Cindy and I are very grateful to the person who added a message from us about Patty's passing and forwarded the notice to us. My mother, Louise was Harriet's twin sister. The first thought that comes to mind in thinking back to Patty is her wonderful smile. Next is the exceptional start she gave to her hundreds of very fortunate first graders. The first memory of Patty that comes to mind is her smile.

So grateful for your life, and all you taught about family and hospitality. Love you, Patty, and your family.

I’m so sad to learn of Patty’s passing. We taught together at St. Joseph’s. She was grade 1a and we met during my first year teaching. I had a split 1/2 classroom. I recall clearly how deeply afraid she was of rodents. When a student would bring a hamster for show and tell, she would come to my classroom and read to my students while I went to her room to handle the rodent show and tell. One winter we returned from winter break to find her closet had been infested by mice. I swear she wanted...

I remember one Halloween when I went over to go trick or treating with Anita. Patty was the nicest mom and you felt the love in that home. Whenever you saw her she always had a smile and your day was a little better after being around her. God bless the family and my prayers go out to you.

A wonderful, generous and thoughtful lady. You always felt the warmth of love of both her and her husband no matter the function. Great memories ❤.Love and prayers, Lois

My family and I had the great pleasure of knowing your Mother via St. Joseph School, she was my daughter Emma’s first grade teacher. Our family has so many wonderful memories both in school/church and at the cabin. Best days ever, being at “sand dollar” heaven and enjoying your Dad’s clam chowder! Your Mother was truly a beloved and blessed woman. We love you Mrs. Geraghty Ted, Jane, Emma & Tori.

A Blessing to her family and all of us that experienced her .companionship.
