Not sure what to say?

Gretchen, were you at SIU Carbondale in the 80's living in Neely Hall? I've tried to track you down from time to time with no luck. When I saw this from a couple years ago I thought it could be you. If it is I would love to get in touch. My email is [email protected]. I'd also like to send some condolences for you on the less of your mom. I recently lost mine as well.

What fun we four mothers had planning creative summer experiences for our children -there were seven of you. Pat always came up with very creative experiences for our children- like the blow-up whale. We ended each summer with a Mother's retreat, leaving our children with their dads as we four moms headed for a 2-day retreat where we laughed and visited all night and shopped all day. Fun time! Gretchen and Chris, do you ever think of those days? I certainly think of you. I know you will...

I sincerely hope someone in Pat’s family gets to read this as a reminder of how many lives Pat touched. Pat and I became friends through what most would call odd circumstances. It started when Pat gave a less than favorable survey during an auto claim. Fate would have me calling her to find out what could have been done differently. Pat and I had what I can only describe as an instant connection as we talked not about the auto claim mostly but communication in general along with various...

I grew up with Pat from first grade through high school. She charmed our small town at special events and meetings with her readings and acting ability. Later we began to reconnect with emails, some small gifts and a lot of memories from our home town. I knew all of her siblings and sadly to say, have never met her children. Pat visited us here in Florida a few years ago and she always remembered our birthdays with a clever unusual birthday card. She will be missed in my life and so many...

As a faculty colleague at Santa Fe Community College, I always appreciated Pat's devotion to our students and her thoughtful engagement and contributions to our faculty development retreats. I miss her, and I offer my heartfelt sympathy to her family.

Pat was a kind and talented woman. She was part of my life as a child and I thrived from her creativity and enthusiasm. Sending my love to Gretchen, Chris and family.
