Sure will miss our twice a month luncheons. Always tried to get a seat near you so we could hear your great stories about growing up in southern California, meeting and marrying Jack, moving up here to Nevada County where we met you. Perhaps our favorite stories were about the plethora of critters who entertained you daily on your porch. Sure will miss your corny jokes....boy you made us laugh! Patty was my first pen pal back in the late 60"s when I was in elementary school. We kept in contact for a while and then it was just Christmas cards. I haven't seen her since 2003 when I took my mom, Jean Kurtz, her cousin, to see her in her lovely home. She was so enthralled by all the wildlife there and of of course her cats. I will remember her with fond memories and miss our yearly correspondence. Kathy Sewolt, cousin
