Not sure what to say?

My favorite memory of Pat is of her laughter; deep, hearty and full of life. What a wonderful sound!

Thank you for opening so many hearts.

Patricia was a part of most of my life. Because she was one of my mother's best friends, she was often a part of our conversations. The Christmas before last, Mom & I went up to Fairfield to visit her. It'd been a long time since I'd seen her, but if anything, I felt closer to her than ever. She had that way of sharing love that let you FEEL it!
I enjoyed reading some of her poetry that night, and have wished since that I'd been braver, a bit more assertive, because she'd hinted that...

Patricia Gross was my friend for 47 years. We met when she helped me buy a dress at Hyde's in Fairfield, and we laughed so much we drew attention. We continued to laugh together almost 50 years. Pat joined my service sorority, Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, and became especially involved with our community project at the Solano County Children's Shelter. She began by helping redecorate the children's rooms with new bedspreads, curtains and rugs. Soon she was baking birthday cakes and...

What a long and fruitful life!! I, too, knew Pat through George Gross, her husband, who taught at Esparto High in the '50's. She was a funny and outspoken lady; her attendance at our 45th Reunion of the Class of 1956 in 2001 punctuated that quality!!
I am sure she touched many lives of families in the Solano Co. area with her efforts on behalf of the children...what a wonderful legacy!!

I knew Pat when her husband George taught at the Esparto High School where I was a student. They were great people....always willing to attend after school affairs such as dances, plays, sporting events, etc. Pat made a difference in so many peoples' lives. For this we are thankful. My condolences to her family. JoAnn Bender Pratt
