As a parent she understood what we all wanted for our children, a great education delivered by an enthusiastic, energetic and caring teacher. She will surely be missed by her family as well as all the students whose lives she so generously touched. My daughter,Suzanne, and my husband and I will always remember her fondly.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Ms. Gunderson's passing. I had her as my second grade teacher and she was one of the best teachers I've ever had. She always made class fun and exciting with a smile on her face. I'm very sorry for your loss and she will be greatly missed.
