Patricia Harris

Pat was dance mentor and instructor to our two girls who are in their 50's now. Both danced as the Golden Girls at Capital High School and later were on the dance team at BSU. Because of her influence one daughter was and runner up in a national contest and won a trip to Japan. Pat was a taskmaster but cared about her students and pushed them to their highest potential. I pray for her soul and thank God for giving us a woman who was highly gifted in dance and full of love for her students....

It's been nearly 50 years and I will always remember dancing to the "Boogie Woogie piggy with the "oink, oink" at a retirement home. Pat represented a place of joy in my life.

Pat was a dance teacher extraordinaire. She taught both of our girls from three-years-old on, on being probably much more interested than the other! She treated them both with love and humor and it was always a joy to watch them perform. She was a big part of their formative years and a lesson in patience for their dad and brother at recital time. She was a favorite part of their childhood!

Pat was such a special person to so many. Blessings to her family, especially Diane whom she loved dearly.

A group of us (60 year olds) took lessons from Pat 20 years ago. She made it so much fun. I will never forget how she enriched our lives "slow,slow,quick,quick". Thanks Pat.

My grandmother enrolled me in Pat Harris School of Dance when I was 10, 50 some years ago. Im sure Mrs. Harris is the reason I'm still dancing in the rain, street, and anytime the music come on.... Condolences to her family

Pat Harris was my first dance instructor and instrumental in my childhood!! Her wonderful studio was a second home for me from age 8 until college!! I fondly remember Pat´s tap classes and her record player instruction at the bar and her scarf juggling and so many other wonderful memories. She cared about her dance students and gave me so many opportunities to experience joy through dance!! I remember her with love and admiration. Thank you Pat ... sending you on with so much LOVE!! Yours...

Pat was an amazing friend and mentor. I will miss her.
