Not sure what to say?

I got to know Pat years ago when she played golf with my mother. Since I worked for the University of Michigan Department, we stayed in touch with each other until her passing. I do not know one person who ever said a negative thing about her. She was a wonderful person. This indeed is sad news.

Pat was a great friend to my Mother Irma. They were golf buddies for years. I enjoyed talking with Pat at Michigan Womens' Basketball and Softball games. She will be missed.

It always a pleasure to see Pat, always so kind and thoughtful and concerned about others. She was True Blue and I will miss seeing her at U-M Hockey and Basketball and talking about the teams.

Sure will miss seeing her beautiful smile at U of M Club of Ann Arbor gatherings. She loved the Wolverines so much and was always a joy to be around. Very glad I got to know her.

I don't think I was ever a spectator to an U-M athletic event when Pat wasn't there. Even the chill of sitting on the metal seats of chilly Yost Ice Area kept Pat from her appointed rounds. I bet she was a loyal teacher to the many young people she influenced in her life. A Michigan Lady!

Miss Hatch was my gym teacher my entire time at Maples school. She was kind yet firm with her discipline. She has left me nothing but great memories. She will be missed.

I was the lucky one to be a 9 holer with you! You set such a good example and enjoyed every minute of being there. Age never got in your way or score. We were there for fun. Fondly, I will always remember your calm nature and know you were a tremendous asset to our club. Miss you always, kind Pat. Joyce Beamer

We are so sorry to learn of the death of dear Pat. Pat sat on the aisle next to " our gang" at all of the Michigan football games. Fun, wonderful times. We also enjoyed seeing her at Balfour Ann Arbor Retirement home. We will miss her. Memories are wonderful and we have many which will help in the difficult days ahead. Our prayers and blessings are with all of you. Lots of love and virtual hugs, GO BLUE! xxxxooo Jim & Charlotte Portz

I am forever grateful to Miss Hatch. She was an amazing phys. ed. teacher, always inspiring us to be fit, do our best, and eat properly. I can still hear her voice reminding us girls to thoroughly dry our hair before leaving the locker room so we wouldn't catch a cold, and to bring home our dirty gym clothes for a "good scrubbin'." I will never forget the great memories of her as my teacher at Fred E. Maples Junior High School. May the perpetual light of Christ shine upon you, Miss Hatch. ...
