Read MorePat was one of the wisest people I've ever known. She taught me so very much both about teaching and about life. A gem of her wisdom is one I follow often: When people were making a bunch of silly rules, she would turn to me and say, "They don't mean us". She touched thousands of lives and truly made the world better by her presence. Deepest sympathy to those who knew and loved her best.

Pat taught both of our children in the North St Paul-Oakdale school system and you could not have asked for a more caring and wonderful teacher. Sunny and all of your family we are very sorry to hear of your loss.
