Not sure what to say?

I just saw Judge Hemann's obituary. In 1978-1979, I was working at Cleveland State in the engineering department while deciding what to do with my life. Judge Hemann's husband asked if I would be interested in typing his wife's law review articles. I became so fascinated with the content of these articles that I decided to take LSAT(having already received a BA in history from CWRU) and apply to law school. Fast forward, I went to university of Toledo and spent 30 years working as an...

Difficult to believe that it´s only two years since we lost a bright star in our world. We miss her every day and feel fortunate to have been her friends. Ron & Marty Faut

I am Patricia Hemanns grandson and patricia Hemann was just really great Patricia would tell me storys about the gingerbread man and I thought that was the coolest story I ever heard when I was little and I loved it!

To the family of Patricia Hemann, I am very sorry for the loss. I had the honor of meeting her once when her husband, Dr. John Hemann, had a little get together with a few of us that worked for him at Cleveland State University many years ago.

Dear John and family - please accept my deepest condolences. Pat was a dear friend of my mother, Mary Ann Rabin. After my mother's stroke, Pat sent letters to her (c/o me) regularly. The letters were wonderful - they were touching and funny. Even though I'm not sure Mom understood them, Mom and I laughed together as I read them to her. I'm not sure I told Pat how much the letters meant so I am telling you now. Pat was one of a kind. She will be missed Julie Rabin

On behalf of the Cleveland State University College of Law, I want to express our deepest condolences to John and the entire family. At yesterday's annual Alumni Luncheon, I asked for a moment of silence in her memory. Pat was a very distinguished 1980 graduate of our law school as well as a long-time personal friend. Pat and I practiced law together at Hahn Loeser. She was brilliant and kind. She served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and graduated second in her class, all while...

Pat and John asked me to sub for them, ages ago when we were tutoring middle school in Rio Rico...they tutored as a couple, and they had two boys on their slate. After my sub date, at the next tutor date, Pat left a note on my briefcase. It was more than just a thanks; its warmth and offering of friendship is with me to this day, as are my memories of both Pat and John. Judith Whipple

Dearest family of Pat ... I´m very heartbroken to see this news ... I´ve been honored and blessed to know Pat . She was generous to my class and a good friend . She was kind and smart and loved John and her family so much . The world was a better place because Pat was in it . My students loved her so much and she loved to read with them and visit them and even showed them with gifts . She donated to my classroom many times and went out of her way to talk to the students . I´m very sorry for...
