Not sure what to say?

I am grieved by the passing of Patricia. But so grateful for having known and been a colleague and sister in arms with her in the fight for equity for all.

Patricia made so many important contributions to PEM in her dual roles as a Trustee and as a guide. When I conducted guide training for upcoming exhibitions, she always had insightful questions that made me think more deeply about how to more effectively share information with our visitors. She particularly championed education in her role as a PEM Trustee, sharing her on-the-ground experiences of the museum as a guide with her fellow Trustees. My deepest sympathy on your loss. She had many gifts for AAUW. Kat Braeman

A true leader in her quiet way. We will miss her.

I served with Patricia at AAUW. I will remember her commitment and her calm and steady leadership. My condolences to her family and may she rest in peace. She will be missed.

I was fortunate to be living in Maine during those years and was able to spend quite a bit of time with Patricia. We traveled throughout Maine together as she spoke at a couple AAUW Maine events. I served with Patricia on the board of Health Quarters and she was a regular customer at Tastebuds. She profoundly changed my life with her leadership skills and she dedicated her life to helping others. I'm in shock to hear this news. Forever she will be remembered.

Dear Galen & Family, Patricia was one of the first people to offer me counsel and support when I became the Executive Director at HAWC. We collaborated in many ways over the years and I learned so much from her. The North Shore is undoubtedly a better place because of her leadership. As a current member of the Essex County Commission on the Status of Women I am proud to continue the work she was so passionate about. With love, Sara Stanley
