A glimmering fern in her bright-blue forest peacefully returned her energy July 28, 2014. Patricia was born to Dale W. Holden and Vella Veya Terry on December 28, 1924, in Portland Oregon. A portion of her childhood was spent in Coos Bay, Oregon, where the awe of the ocean never left her side....

She made a Woodland Haven, included in the yearly Master Gardner Tours
I would find her often fishing by her pond.She loved many things but birding seemed a passion, because of her knowledge my yard too is visited by species of birds now.
I miss her but her smiles and great wisdom linger as I walk by her house daily.
