Shar, I´m really sorry about your mom. I´m thinking about you and sending you lots of love -Liam

I only knew of Patricia through my dear friend, her daughter Shar. Even so, I always felt a small connection to her, since we shared the same birthday-August 15-and I never missed the chance to wish her a happy birthday when I spoke with Shar. Shar is one of the loveliest people I have ever known, and I know that is a reflection of the love and guidance she received from her mother. Patricia´s presence clearly lives on through her. My deepest condolences to the family.

Pat had a way of lighting up a room and making everyone feel like they belonged. She was loud when others were quiet, fearless when others hesitated, and always full of life. Pat reminded us to take ourselves less serious and to hold joy tightly when it appeared. Always, I´ll carry her laughter with me.

I had the opportunity to work with Pat during her career at JC Penney. She was a dedicated associate, hard worker and provided the "ultimate" in customer service to shoppers in the Women´s Dress and Sportswear departments. Pat was always happy and full of laughs. Mom was the anchor of our family and the reason my childhood was so joyful-she kept all five of us kids busy with creative play, making sure there was never a dull moment. She saw something in me early on and supported my artistic path from the beginning. That encouragement shaped my entire life, and I'm beyond grateful for it. I miss her terribly. I'll carry her memory in my heart each and every day forward.
