To Kim and Tony,
It is tough to lose a parent, especially one that loved you as much as your Mom loved you. My sincerest condolences on the passing of "Ms. Joyner". She taught me that through dance you could express yourself in so many ways. Heaven has a new angel and she is among the many greats teaching the arts to God's satisfaction. Well done is what the Lord is saying to her because she touched the lives of so many people, especially children.
To Kay, your sister was a...

My sincere condolences goes to the family of Pat Joyner. I worked with her at the Newark Board of Education and found her to be a wonderful person, we had conversations which I look back at today and have to smile. Pat will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Kim: My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I was shocked to learn of your mother's passing last night at choir rehersal. As you know, I grew up in the Union Baptist Church where our families (grandmothers, aunts, and uncles)became life-long friends. Your mother was one of those beautiful and admired role models for younger women like myself. She was talented and multi faceted as reflected in the contributions she made. She leaves a legacy of which you and your entire family can be...
