Krause, Patricia Kaye (Nee DeBolt) Patricia "Pat" Kaye Krause gave up her spirit on August 1, 2012, in a peaceful, graceful and dignified manner - the exact same way she lived her entire life. With her at the time of her passing was her husband of 55 years, Larry and present throughout the last days were all five of her children, her sister, niece, many friends and visitors. Pat was born April 30, 1936, in Stuart, NE to Durlin D. and Leota DeBolt (nee Lashmett). Pat grew up in O'Neill, NE and graduated from O'Neill High School. She attended Wayne State Teacher's College in Wayne, NE, where she met her husband Larry. Pat and Larry were married June 9, 1957. Pat is survived by her devoted husband, Larry and five children: Jeff of Waukesha, WI, Jerry (Cindy) of Menomonee Falls, WI, Jay (Kristine) of Phoenix, AZ, Jill (Mark) Duchin of Franklin, WI, and Jon (Jenny) of Seward, NE. She is also survived by her 13 precious and loving grandchildren: Brittany, Bryce (Brittany), Jena (Randy), Jacob, Jessica, Breanna, Aaron, Matthew, Brett, Korianne, Timothy, Rebekah and Joseph, as well as her loving sister, Delores Farrier and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Durlin and Leota DeBolt, Larry's parents, Lawrence and Margaret (Prince) Krause and brother-in-law Richard "Dick" Farrier. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, August 8 from 10:00 AM until the time of service, 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, N36 W24130 Pewaukee Rd, Pewaukee, WI. Graveside services will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery, Lannon, WI, with a luncheon to follow. Memorials are suggested for the Variety Club Children's Charities of Wisconsin or a cancer association of your choice. A special thank you to all the staff at Magnolia Rehab Center for all of the loving care they provided and to the many special friends at Heritage Oaks Golf & Country Club in Sarasota, FL. May we all always remember Pat's smile and love for life and family. We will always give thanks and have comfort in knowing she is now in her eternal resting place.
