I want to express my deepest sympathy to the Lilly family members. My twin sister, Janis, Patty and I were classmates at St. Peter's Catholic School. Patty's birthday was the day before ours. I reconnected with Pat Lockhart at a Pikes Peak Road Runners board meeting in early 2024, having previously met her several times while she assisted at the registration table for the club´s monthly Nielsen Challenge 2-mile race. She was immediately welcoming and continued to guide me as I learned the workings of the board during my brief tenure. Pat was my parents´ neighbor-who quickly became part of our family-has passed away. She was the kind of person who made the whole street feel warmer just by being there. Always so kind, always smiling, always ready with a wave or a sweet word. She wasn´t just a neighbor to us; she was a piece of home. Someone whose presence made everything feel a little brighter. That street just won´t be the same without her. She will be deeply, deeply missed.

Pat and I volunteered at the gift shop together for over 7 years. She was a very kind lady. I was very shocked by the news of her sudden passing. My heart goes out to her family.
