Patricia A. (Genna) Manfra, age 76, of Brick, NJ passed away on Saturday, June 21st, 2025 at her home. She was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ and lived in Clark, NJ before moving to Brick in 1971 shortly after she wed.   She was a graduate of Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark, NJ.  Pat enjoyed being a homemaker for many years while raising her two children. She entered the work force by working at ClothWorld, where she nurtured her love for sewing.  Pat then studied to become a Nurse’s Aide at Point Pleasant Hospital.  She was also employed for many years as an Accounts Receivable Agent at American Hotel Register Company in Lakewood, NJ.  Prior to her retirement, she also worked at High Gear.  She enjoyed ceramics, sewing, cooking, scrapbooking, viewing wildlife and discovered a passion for traveling in her senior years.  She loved visiting Florida to spend time with her beloved granddaughter and to celebrate birthdays.  Pat loved to visit her son and his wife for their yearly Thanksgiving celebration at their home.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years, Alfred Manfra in 2015.  She is survived by her loving children, Laureen Manfra and her husband, Anthony Shippee of Clermont, FL and Brian Manfra and his wife, Cynthia of Hillside, NJ; her brother Thomas Genna of Ijamsville, MD; her devoted granddaughter, Valerie Shippee and three nieces and five nephews.  Friends may attend a visitation on Monday, June 30th, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home – 885 Mantoloking Rd. Brick, NJ 08723.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, 11:00 AM at the Church of the Visitation – 730 Lynnwood Ave. Brick, NJ 08723.   Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery – 62 Cedar Grove Rd. Toms River, NJ 08753.  Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made in her honor to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital - 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.  To send condolences to her family, please visit her Guestbook at: www.weatherheadyong.com

Pat was an amazing friend. I always looked forward to her Florida visits. We became friends when Valerie was an infant and remained friends. Pat had such a encouraging words for me and great FB diddies for me to enjoy.
