Not sure what to say?

Patricia Mathis was an amazing woman who inspired me. I met her once in a grocery store. Times were difficult, and I needed an extra two dollars to be able to pay for my items. She handed me a twenty dollar bill and told me that things would work out.
To this day, I still thank her for the loving woman who gave me hope when times were hard.

John and Pat were members of the Butler 9th Ward at the same time I lived there. I never forgot the the loving relationship they shared. It was obvious they were meant for each other and i am certain that companionship will continue on throughout eternity.

They left behind a wonderful example of what a marriage should be and I shall always be grateful for having known them.

A wonderfully warm and and intelligent mother and person. I'm so happy I was able to know you and spend what ever short time I did with you and the Mathis family - All of you, truly beautiful people. Brian was a friend of mine. Pat, John, Brian, his brother and sisters always treated me and each other kindly whenever I saw them. I greatly admire all of the Mathis family.

Chad and I wish to send our love to Pat's children and their families at this time of sorrow and loss.

Pat was a lady in all aspects of her life and carried herself with grace and dignity at all times. She was beautiful inside and out with the voice of an angel.

We also send our love and sympathy to Valene, Lorretta. Max and Patty and their extended families.

Families truly are eternal and will be together forever, as I am sure she is experiencing with John and her many...

Pat was one of the first friends I made in Sunnyside when we were both fifteen. We lived just four doors apart. She was truly a beautiful singer, her voice revealed the nice person she was. On many of her singing engagements it was my opportunity to be her accompanist. There were six of us from the Sunnyside area who shared lots of fun times. Now there are three of us. During the last years since John's passing, I had some contact with Pat via phone. They were pleasant conversations,...

I attended Jr.High & High School with Pat. Everyone who knew her loved her. Sweet, talented, smart, she had everything. She was truly a special person and I wish her family the best during this difficult time.

Pat was a gracious, talented, and fun young woman and a wonderful mother. Although She was several years older than me, she was always kind to me. I've admired her and John since I was a little girl. He was so handsome. She so beautiful, inside and out. I'm grateful for her good example of being a genuinely good person. God bless you all and your family. It's hard to lose those so dear to us.

When I think of Pat the words dignified and beautiful is how I will always remember her.
So sorry for your loss.
May you be comforted in knowing she loves you.
