Patty was my college roommate´s mom. When I visited she always made me feel right at home. She was such a nice person. My deepest condolences to Dyke, Sandy and Amy.

To the McCarty Family: Your mother was my mother´s roommate at Bonview in Richmond, Va. We had the opportunity to speak with her several times once she moved back to Ohio. We tried calling a few weeks ago, and when I realized she no longer had this particular number, I had a gut feeling that she had transitioned. What a wonderful woman she was. My family lived next door to Patty & Dyke from 1969-1978 on Pentland Circle, Huber Heights, Oh. I can honestly say I have never met anyone who was as welcoming, caring and genuine as Patty. She guided me through the trials and tribulations which face many young mothers, she was there to provide advice and support. We lost touch when my family moved but I never forgot her. My sincerest condolences to her children and grandchildren. I know that God has a special place in heaven for Patty.
