Patty and I met on the playground of Wheeler Elementary School over 30 years ago and became instant, lifelong friends. Patty was kind, energetic, thoughtful and always willing to lend a hand. She had a beautiful spirit which lives on in her children and grandsons. Patty would never say goodbye. She'd say have a great day or see you soon or enjoy your day, but never goodbye. So, I won't say goodbye now. I will say I'll miss you and I'll be thinking of you. I love you, my friend.
