Not sure what to say?

I met Pat in the early 80's shortly after I moved to Oregon. I enjoyed learning the fascinating history of Portland from someone who knew it firsthand. Her stories were always so interesting and entertaining. I will never forget visiting the Rhododendron Gardens with her. She introduced me to Mahjong and I treasure the set she gifted me after her trip to China. We would often meet at the gym after work and after we worked out, we would always have a great discussion on books, movies, travel...

Pat responded to an advertisment I placed in Willamette Writers for Lake Oswego writers to join a critique group. We were together for nearly 3 years, every Thursday.

I liked her immediately.

I valued her opinion on writing, her feedback was very useful. I watched as she improved her skills and emerged as an excellent story teller. Pat always thanked us for our comments.

She loved exploring and often brought interesting artifacts to group that she found on her...

My grandmother was an amazing woman and the mutual attraction to sciences of all sorts that we shared together will be greatly missed by me. We shared many discussions about a great many things. My Nana was always encouraging my passions in life in ways others never could. She was a woman of great intellect and understood me better than most ever will. When she would decide to figure something out or begin a new challenge in life she never failed to finish it. I am so proud of my Nana's...

Pat & I worked at a real estate company together--she was one of my favorite friends at that company---she called me when she wanted to sell her 3 condos in Kingsgate and we enjoyed many happy & laughing times at her home on Stephenson while we conversed about her condos--she was so intelligent & wise about so many subjects --I really enjoyed every hour with her--she enjoyed life and LOVED her family--I took her thru the home she grew up in when it came on the market in...

we had many chats while our little dogs played in her back yard on stephenson ; especially archaeology and her oplants. I graduated from lincoln high in 1946 and had a pleasant time recalling old times over the fence in her backyard. will miss her.

Mom was unique. She loved learning and was never afraid to try something new. She let me take chances growing up and supported my goals, and for that I will be eternally grateful. I miss our weekly talks and visits. I am very proud of the courage and strength she showed.

Pat was a great neighbor and we had many great times admiring her new plant friends and her latest archaeology find. I will miss our over the fence discussions. Thanks to all the relatives for allowing her to live out her life in the house she loved.

Pat was a special friend. We were in the same close-kint writing group for many years. Our group split apart about four years ago. I'm so saddened to hear of her passing.
