We met the Mendels through Alger PTA. We continued the friendship for years by all being in a "Trivial Pursuit" group. We have lost touch over the last few years, but the Mendels are often in our thoughts.
We are very saddened but will never forget that twinkle in her eyes when she smiled, which was often.

We are very saddened to hear of your loss. Of all my cousins, Pat was closest to me in age. Our parents arranged for frequent visits so that Pat, Susan, and I could have fun together and create lasting childhood memories. I was also privileged to be an attendant in her wedding. I did not see Pat for many years after that, but my mom always showed me pictures of her growing family.
