In the early '30's we lived at 125 Akenside Road and I remember seeing and hearing radio for the first time with her older brother, Bob, up in their attic. So sorry on the lost of your mother. She was quite a lady and lead quite a life (just red her obituary).She was amazing!! Good for her!! We knew she was special the first day we met her.
