I was so deeply saddened to hear of Patty's passing. We knew one another from high school and reconnected again from time to time in our adult lives. Her friendship was fierce and loyal, and I will cherish the memories that I hold of her. I'll continue to hold space in my heart for her parents and family, knowing what an emptiness she leaves for them. (These are a few shots from the surprise party we held for her one year.)

Patty and I worked together at the New Jersey Department of Health. She was always a shining light of positivity and a pleasure to talk to. I was so happy that she was able to retire to enjoy her family and friends to the fullest. My deepest sympathies and condolences to the family.
