I am deeply saddened to hear of Pat's passing. She was a schoolmate of mine. Anytime I saw her she had a gentle and kind demeanor. All these years she seemed not outwardly tarnished by the chaotic world around her. It amazed me. Rest in peace Pat.

She was the absolute nicest cashier at Stop and Shop. I searched her out and would wait in any long line just to see her. We were on a first name basis. We talked about everything and anything. To read this this morning really broke my heart. Rest in peace Pat. My Condolences to your best friend and son.
