Corridan Funeral Home - Chicopee Obituary

So. Hadley- Patricia T. (Wren) Novak, 85, passed away at home on February 22, 2021, with her family by her side.  A native of the United Kingdom, Patricia was born on April 2, 1935, in Liverpool, England, daughter to the late Henry and Mildred (Strauch) Wren.  She was proud to have survived the Liverpool Blitz during World War II and to be present at the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth.  Ever the free spirit, Patricia loved to find adventure and travel.  She crossed the Atlantic on the Queen Mary, has traveled throughout Europe with several of her grandchildren, been snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef, and even went sky diving for the first time, at age 75, with one of her grandsons.  When she wasn't traveling, Patricia enjoyed relaxing while working on her quilting.  More than anything else, she had a great love for her family.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to Patricia.  In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Joseph Novak, her brother, Matthew Wren, a daughter, Patricia Frappier and son-in-law, Larry Frappier.  She is survived by her children, Dr. Joseph Novak and his wife, Sarah, of Ohio, Michael Novak and his wife, Ann, of Belchertown, and Susan Kisiel and her husband, Tom, of New Hampshire.  She also leaves her 8 grandchildren, Michelle Toner, Elizabeth Perron, Annette Aparviz, Chelsea Frappier, Seth Frappier, Maggie Novak, Wes Novak, and Mary Zapalac, as well as 9 great-grandchildren, all of whom lovingly called her "Buff Granny."  At the family's request, all services for Patricia will be private.  Corridan Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.  To leave your condolences or to share a memory, please visit www.CorridanFuneral.com

Hey Gram, still can't believe you're not here. We miss you terribly, but we're thankful for the time we were able to spend with you and the daily video calls you had with the kids. The joy you brought to them (and us) is immeasurable and we're thankful for the time even if it wasn't nearly long enough. We love you. Hope you and your skinny GI (as you put it) are together flying high.

I don't have the words to express what a beautiful, loving, adventures woman you were. We had so much fun together and I will miss your smile

I was lucky enough to have a few wonderful conversations with Pat over the years. her enthusiasm for life, love for her family, and wonderful stories were memorable. Sending much love to her family during this challenging time.
