Pat was like my second mother and father. In fact on Fathers Day I called her and wished her and Stash a happy Fathers Day, she laughed. We talked for over an hour it was always fun to chat with her. The last words we spoke were "I love you Pat, and tell Stash I love him." and she said to me..."Will do, I love you too, call us again, soon."

I was deeply saddened to hear of Pat's passing. I didn't get to see her at the races when I was in town and that was quite unusual. Upon hearing she hadn't been doing well, I could only pray that we would see her back in her chair in good health routing for Darrell. Unfortunately that was not to be.
