I was lucky enough to get to know Pat in the mid-1980's when she was busy running La Jolla Magazine. I first started working for her when I was a high school journalism intern. Pat was always very generous with her time and knowledge. She had a great sense of humor, a zest for life, and a love for her community and family. La Jolla will miss her (as will I). My sincerest condolences to her family.
