HILDEBRAND - RUSS FUNERAL HOME - Rhinelander Obituary

Patricia Ann (Bray) Rollins

"Patsy"

February 20, 1953 ~ December 14, 2025

Age ~ 72

Patricia Ann "Patsy" Rollins, 72, of Rhinelander, WI, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Patsy was the undeniable foundation of the Rollins family, the glue that held everything together and, famously, the only person on earth who could truly control her husband, Stephan. She was genuine, fiercely loyal, and possessed a fun, sarcastic wit that kept everyone on their toes. She also possessed a wonderful ability to laugh at herself. The family will forever cherish her accidental "Patsy-isms," like the time she frantically searched for a mythical "otter coin," and the way she would laugh harder than anyone else when she realized her mistake.

Her maternal heart extended well beyond her own home. For years, she and Stephan owned a roller rink in Streamwood, IL, where she became a second mother to the community, known affectionately by all the kids as "Mrs. Mom."

Her happiest life moments began when she became a mother herself. She poured that same love into every family dog they raised, treating the pups with as much devotion as her own children. She loved the outdoors and spent countless hours fishing alongside Stephan, finding peace on the water.

She was also the queen of her own kitchen. Patsy loved cooking, but specifically, she loved her cooking and her recipes, confident that nobody else could quite get them right.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Stephan Rollins; and her two sons, Michael Rollins and Steve Rollins, who will miss her guidance, her humor, and her strength every single day. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dolores Bray.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you honor Patsy’s memory by holding your own family close, hugging your pets, and taking a moment to appreciate the people you love.
