Not sure what to say?

We will miss her beautiful voice at the campfire. She would always help get the songs rolling and shared very creative "Hebgen Lake Blues" verses! She will be greatly missed, especially at our family cabin.

I took my first theatre class, Acting One, with Pat when I was a sophomore at U of A in 1979. And Pat directed the first show I was ever in - Camelot in 1980. Yes, she got me hooked! If I had not taken that Acting One class with her, I would never have had a 35 year career as a stage director and college theatre professor. I will always remember her.

Rest in Peace, Pat.
I have wonderful memories working together at U of A Theatre.

Thank you, Dr. Pat. You will be missed.

I took acting and directing classes under Dr. Pat at the University of Arkansas beginning in 1986. She taught me that "acting is not real life". She would host holiday parties at her home and bring in treats to makes first year students feel welcome and at home. Years later, I interviewed her for a news story about the department. She clearly remembered cutting up with me during the long rehearsals for King Lear. What a wonderful, passionate woman! Thank you for sharing your art with so many...

I am one of those students who was inspired by Pat to pursue the teaching of theatre. Pat was my drama teacher at Sheldon High School in the late 60s. Pat was a beloved teacher and later, friend. I still remember her unique laugh which was heard frequently! What an amazing and influential life she had. Blessings to the family as you deal with losing this powerful woman.
