Not sure what to say?

I was one of Mrs. Ruggiero's students from the time she taught at Lee Middle. Just a little over 14 years ago at the time of my writing. Though I am rather late to hear of her passing, I am nonetheless saddened. Mrs. Ruggiero was one of the few teachers I remember well due to thoughtful instruction and her ability to challenge me as a student. Rest in peace.

I just learned of Mrs. Ruggiero's passing. I was one of her students at W.D Sugg Middle in 1984/85 and she went down as my all-time favorite teacher. I'm glad I took the opportunity to return and express my gratitude to her. I got the chance to visit her one other time when my child started at Lee Middle and I discovered she was teaching there. I did not know, but was not surprised, she won Teacher of the Year. I know what an impression she left on me and I could only imagine the hundreds, if...

I am so sorry for your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn," strengthen you during this difficult time. Isaiah 61:1, 2.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. Happy birthday in heaven

As a former student, her love for teaching and empowering students to be the best they can be was so enlightening. She gave me a new perspective on the love of learning. I am forever grateful for the passion that she instilled in me. She always had the biggest smile, generous heart, and care for her students. She will never be forgotten by me as well as the other students she impacted most.

Trish, you have been in my life as far back as I can remember & I am a better person for it. Now you have left the blessings of your children and their own children. I am forever grateful to you

What a beautiful tribute. I'm so sorry. I aling with Manatee Sailing Association looked forward to getting to know our new members Fred and Pat better.

Loving Light Dishgarden

I met Trish while subbing for her at Lee Middle School. Her smile, welcoming manner, kind heart and love of her family, friends, and students impressed me. In such a short time I really grew to care about her. I am sad. Heaven has a new angel!
