Not sure what to say?

Such a light in this world you were to me and so many others.

Dear Pat, May you Rest in Peace.

Dear Kari and Family,
Sorry to hear of your mom's passing. When I think of her, I have nothing but positive memories. She was a great mentor and her presence improved all aspects of school: lessons, recess duty, meetings, etc.,. Her unique sense of humor and contagious laugh, unforgettable. I can hear it now! I remember being so impressed with her travels to Australia and deciding that I must also visit, (& did!) I feel privileged to have been a colleague and friend. Pat will be missed...

Kari and Chad, I am so sorry to hear about Patti. She and I were friends for so many years and I treasure the time we spent together during my summer stays back in AG. Her generosity and compassion were boundless. I share your loss and send my love to you.

Patty was always a favorite mom of mine. From when I first met Kari and we hung out all through AGHS, going to the Sangers was always fun. She made the best tomato sandwiches in the world. Love that family. So sorry she is gone. Loved the obituary and she would have too.

Mrs. Sanger was an awesome 5th grade teacher. I remember her shaking every students hand every morning as we entered the classroom. What a great heart she had.

Pat was so likable and such a great teacher. I see she had a thing for her students' desks being neat. Glenna and I were at a parent/teacher conference, and Pat showed us James's messy desk. We were a little embarrassed, of course, and he did clean it up. The thing is that James is very neat as an adult, and maybe that is where it started. I remember her dramatic clothes and colorful, happy jewelry. When we retired, she had a breakfast at the start of school for us retirees, who did not...

" Dear Pat, I so loved working in your classroom both as a mom, and as an assistant! Your art classes you taught were fabulous. You were an outstanding teacher, and had you taught Kelly to clean his desk, you would have accomplished the impossible. Love you Pat, Cherie

I will miss my dear friend, walking and travel buddy for the rest of my life. It is a lovely obituary, but Patty would probably laugh off the accomplishments and praise and say: no wonder I am tired. I loved her, and love her still.
