Pat Sauter: Such fond memories: Renaissance Woman...Fun...Caring...Bountiful Wisdom & Knowledge...Great Listener...Endless Love of Life.

Your friends and your family, of whom you were so very proud, will always miss your physical presence but your Spirit makes me a better person and will live on within me forever...or at least until we reunite again
at another Cinco De Mayo celebration somewhere in another place.

Thank you for your friendship and love that has...

Cervantes said "Tell me what company thou keepst, and I'll tell thee what thou art," and that was certainly true of my friend Pat. She was my literature "buddy". We shared good books, had a love of similar authors, and were not above the idea of a good "trashy" magazine or novel. I love that about Pat, she was neither too high nor too low. It was all on the menu for Pat. Pat's laughter was the spirit of our little group of friends. Shameless and full of joy, her mirth would ring in any...

"What do you bring to the table?" It's a common phrase in our recent history. It's a phrase that implies worth or value or the ability to contribute to a particular situation. In times like these we all stop to think about what we, as individuals are truly leaving behind...what is our "legacy". Pat left many things...some of thoes "things" now reside in our homes...a brillitant personal reminder of time well spent with Pat. But more importantly, Pat had the uniqe gift of making each of...

What wonderful memories we all have of our times with you! As I look around my house, I see touches of you everywhere--a neat straw box holding a treasure, a silly pop-up birthday clown, a brass container, and, of course, candles, candles, candles.
Our times were always special-we could be sitting in your front space relaxing after the Art Fair or having a special cocktail at Jack Fry's--it was always an event to remember and smile about! I feel very blessed to have known you and I...

To know Pat, was to love her. There's not much she hasn't seen nor done, truly a woman of the world! I'll never forget the wonderful times we spent with Marc and friends. Pat, you have enriched my life a million fold. Thanks for having been exactly who you were to me, a friend, a shoulder, an advisor, a confidant.

My deepest sympathy to Pat's sons and to all who knew her. Marc and Kathy, you both were truly her angels!

I'll forever miss my fellow Long Islander from the...

Pat has been a very dear member of my family for as long as I can remember and I will miss her very very much. She and I shared a special friendship that I will always cherish. I have so many wonderful memories, and I know that Pat will live on in our hearts forever. I offer my deepest condolences to all of her friends and family. I know that you are what she cared most about in life. It is hard to focus on anything but the sadness of our loss at this time. However, it is the joy and...

Our sincerest of condolences to the Sauter family, especially Mark.

Pat, only to have known you was a pleasure. Seeing you at Derby each year for the last 15 years was a joy. I'm glad we had a chat and a hug last week, so for you,
"At last she rose and twitched her mantle blue. Tomorrow to fresh woods and pastures new."

Pat, my Dear, you're already missed...the parties and celebrations will surely long for your flair! The stories you painted will live on...When you were present, all social traffic stopped to hear The Queen of the Court! We treasured our excursions to the river for a libation and story...I will miss the stomping of your feet and that distinct cackle that engaged all within earshot of our party! You brought an immense bowl to the table of life...and we are all the better for it! Abide in...
