Not sure what to say?

Charles and Heather,
I saw Nancy and Floyd Trimble at church today and they told me about Patty. I was shocked and saddened by the news. I only wish I had known so I could have been at the memorial service. Patty was a very special mentor to me and your family, too, was quite special. Heather....you know you were one of my favorites early on and Charles....you and I had some great tennis matches! I know Patty will live on in your hearts through many fond memories. I am so very sorry...

"Mrs. Schmidt" was my first grade teacher at Farine Elementary in Irving, TX. I have never forgotten her after 25 years. I'm sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

Hello,
My name is Woody Schober and I was an educator friend of Patti for many years. She was a beautiful person who blessed everyone with her presence.

Charles,
My wife, Mary Ellen, and I are very saddened at the loss of Patti. Being classmates at Greenhills High School I often had the opportunity to talk to her. Patti was easy to know. I regretted not seeing her at our 50th high school reunion last year. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Heather and Charles,
We will all miss Patty. What can I say, you have only to read the notes from her many and varied friends to know that this world has lost a beloved friend. We love you guys.

Dear Heather,
My Mother(Frances Thompson) and I would like to express to you our deepest sympathy. Your mother was the finest example of a wonderful teacher to her students and fellow teachers. I was not able to be fortunate enough to have the experience of having her as a teacher. However, I carry with me the memory anytime I see baby chickens, I think of your mother and incubators and all of those eggs that became chickens and the wonderful experience that all those chickens and children...

Charles:

We were saddened to learn of your loss. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Charles and Heather,
I can never put into words what Ms. Patty meant to me. Forty-six years ago, she was my Sunday school teacher at Woodhaven Presbyterian Church. I helped out in her first grade classroom at Farine Elementary while I was a student in fifth grade. She was my inspiration to become a teacher. She was the first grade teacher for two of Cesar's and my children. As a student teacher in 1996, I had Ms. Patty as my supervisor. Cesar and I have both enjoyed working with her at...

Charles, our thoughts and prayers are with you, Heather, and your family at this time. Our deepest sympathy for your loss of Patti.
