Not sure what to say?

I will miss her forever! This morning I picked up her metal recipe box, stuffed full of newspaper recipes, her hand written recipes, recipes from boxes and recipes from friends. They're all faded now. I removed one typed for chippy franks, hot dogs, coated in mayonnaise, rolled in potato chips and grilled. I can't throw the recipe box out! Maybe later, not today. Sorry Mom, not today.

A year may have past, but you have never been forgotten! Everyday I want to call or send an email! You were and always will be a special lady and most of all a very special friend!! I know you are looking down at all those ladies down in San Carlos as they do their weekly hikes wishing you could be there! Love you always

I'm upset to learn of Pat's passing. She was my neighbor in Emigration Canyon for Several years. My family always looked forward to her return from Mexico. My husband would help her unload her truck and she would reward us with fish she caught. She was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I cannot put it into words.

Dear Pat,

One of the things I will always remember is your smile and laugh - even during the very last hours of your life.

Your determination and perseverance inspired me to continue the fight for the place you loved.

Your legacy will continue.
