Pat taught me so much more than the job I was to take over after her retirement. There were so many laughs shared during all hours in the office, and outside during lunch breaks. She never stopped believing in helping others, human or animal. We shared so many laughs and moments of joy. Her light will continue through the lives of all the people she has touched. Matt and Connie, I am so sorry for your loss.

Pat was a wonderful person. I was lucky enough to work closely with Pat for several years when I was a trooper. She gave me great advice, told me terrifically funny stories, and made me laugh like no other. She was a perfectionist in all things and took great pride in her work. She was one of the few people who supported and encouraged me when I decided to leave the state patrol for new things. I will never forget my dear, wonderful friend. Love to you, Pat. From D.B.
