Read MorePatty and I were in the high school band together. She was a wonderful friend. Patty also convinced me to go to Capital University where she attended. That was a wonderful choice for which I will always thank her. She was kind, compassionate, and had a wonderful smile and laugh. My deepest condolences to her family.

I sat next to Patty in the Wind Ensemble of Perkins High School for several years. Such a sweet and fun person. Her unforgettable smile. Great memories of fun and hard work at band camp on Kelly's Island. She asked me at our 25th class reunion if I still played the oboe, and I still have it and get it out once in a while. I always think of Patty when I do.
