Miss Patricia Anne Stevenson was born on February 14, 1952 to Charles and Clara Stevenson in Mobile, Alabama. She left for her heavenly home on Sunday, February 23, 2020 in Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by father, mother, baby sister Linda Stevenson.
Patricia is survived by brother Archie (Ulla) Stevenson, Heidelburg, Germany and devoted sister Gloria (Ralph) Gordon, Mobile, AL. She is also survived by her niece, Iris Stevenson of Portland, OR; devoted nephew Corey Stevenson of Mobile, AL and adopted nephew Steve Crow of Atlanta, GA; great niece Britelin Underwood Stevenson, Rome, GA; goddaughter LaToya Williams of Fairburn, GA; godsons James Grimes IV of College Park, GA; Atty. Linell Rowe, Atlanta, GA; Dr. Artesius Miller, Atlanta, GA; Jarvis Williams of College Park, GA; and great goddaughter Kirstin Williams.
She leaves a legacy of friends; her devoted neighbor Susie Rhodes and family; her many best of friends Mayme Garrett, Atty. Gerri Phillips, Virginia White, Sheila Cunningham, Allene McCollum, Margie (Reed) Tuckson, Michael Oby, Lorenzo Scott, Lee Patton, Judge Allyson Pitts, Julie Peters, Annie Lois Byrd, Sharon McLean, Peggy Nales, Deidre Smith; Loretta (Craig) Williams, Steubenville, OH; Mollene Thomas and Delores Jacobs of Jonesboro, GA. Marlean (Henry) Clark Baton Rouge, LA; Daryl (John) Jarvis of New Orleans, LA; Alex Blevins of Portland, OR; Barbara Mitchell, Catherine Nicholson, Margaret Hope, and Brenda Jackson of Mobile, AL. along with many other family and friends, Ruth Rhodes, Brenda Norwood, James (Martha) Williams, Derrick Chauncey, Atty. Alphonse Perkins, Albert Walker, Caudrey (Bobby) Gray, Bobbie (Alecia) Brown, and Mary Turner.
She leaves to cherish her legacy and memories to her adopted mother, Mrs. Evelyn Samples, Mobile, AL; cousins, Patricia Portis and Family; David (Novella) Bass, Mobile, AL; Beatrice (Michael) Johnson, Atlanta, GA; Brittany and Bridgette Moore, Mobile, AL; Brandi (RaShun and Lyniyah) Cowan of Victoria, TX; Aundra (Anthony) Kidd, Plateau, AL.
Pat attended Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, AL where she received a degree in Business Administration. She moved to Atlanta, GA working first for the Dept. of the Army and then later the Dept. of the Navy where she was a Grant Specialist. She worked in that position and retired after 30+ years.
Patricia was a faithful member of Cascade United Methodist Church until her health began to fail. Her love and joy was working with the Homeless Ministry. She was an avid, sports fan (football) and baker. She loved baking different types of sweets for family and friends. Her favorite times of the year was Christmas with family, her birthday on Valentine’s Day, and the Mardi Gras season in Mobile, AL.
Pat’s sweet spirit will be greatly missed by many who loved her and remembered her unselfish devotion to family and friends.

We trust in the word of God when he says his fathers house are many mansions and he went to prepare a place for us and there he will receive us unto him.
