Patricia Arlene Trimm

Patricia Arlene Trimm, of Hoover, went to be with the Lord, Monday, December 12, 2016, at the age of 72. She is preceded in death by 2 sons, Don Trimm and James Smith. 

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, James R. Trimm; sons, John Earl Smith (Stephanie), Mike Trimm, Phillip Trimm (Ellen); 6 grandchildren, Robert Smith (Anastasia), Hunter Smith, Melissa Aaron (Jody), Wade Trimm (Melanie), Lea Collins (Stephen), and Kinsley Trimm; 6 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Ruth Holt (Charles), Ann Shumate (Butch), Emma Strickland, and Betty Brooks (Jeff); 2 brothers, Paul Blackwood (Patsy) and Rick Blackwood; and an "adopted" son, James Blackwood (Jennifer).

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover.  Funeral will be 11 AM, Thursday, December 15, 2016, in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Buddy Poe and Rev. Ruby Blackwood officiating.  Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
