Patricia A. Waters

My Gram has been one of the closest people to me throughout my life. She has taught me how to knit, sew, quilt, love, laugh, smile, and listen. She and I often shared our thoughts over a hot cup of Rasberry Royal Tea. She and Gramps made me feel like a grandparents super hero. It was awesome and I will carry her love in my back pocket throughout my life.

I have known Pat for many years. She was a dear friend and mentor in my early days of quilting. I will always remember her gentle ways and sincere friendship to all who knew her.

In the short period of time that I knew Pat, she served as an inspiration to me. Always a smile on her face and a cheerful hello to all. I will always remember her knitting skills and all the baby hats she made. She will be sorely missed.

I was so shocked and saddened to receive news of Pat’s death. Pat always lead by example, always had a smile, and was kindness itself. I have so many fond memories…they would fill this page. But the foremost one: I will always remember her laugh!
