Dear Kent and Bart,
I am so very sorry for this tremendous loss. I have taught with Trisha since 1997 and she was always full of joy and smiles. My daughter is now in first grade and she knew Mrs. Whitaker very well too. She is hoping that Trisha is enjoying her first Christmas with Jesus. My students that knew her were deeply saddened and placed a tiny angel on our class tree for her.

Trish took care of my kids while I was preparing for my wedding last month, and she was so gracious to make the 3 hour trip to Nacogdoches to see Jason & I get married. I am so sorry for your loss. Trisha was my first mentor teacher at Lakeview Elem. her last year teaching. Wow, what a class. She never lost her cool and treated those children like angles. She also gave me the encouragement I needed to become a patient teacher. I am now a full time first grade teacher at Lakeview because of Trisha.God Bless your family, you are in my prayers.
