Patty was a sister, to my neighbor Mike and his wife, Carol. We had the pleasure of meeting Patty and being with her a few times at the Outer Banks. I know she liked it there, she was like me, we' d be out on the beach reading and enjoying the sun. I can only hope she's up there enjoying hearing the waves. Our sympathy to John and Kevin and the entire family. God Bless!

Aunt Patty was smart, strong and funny. She loved her family and hosted all of us every Easter and Thanksgiving. We will all miss her dearly.

Patty "adopted" me at work when I moved from Puerto Rico. She taught me a lot including shattering my preconception that I might not be seen as an equal. I will forever be incredibly thankful. She also took care of me outside of work and she recruited John to help me once. :-) Through the years, we stayed in touch. She became a great listener, gave me great advice during my pregnancy and was a big cheerleader for my little girl. She will forever have a place in my heart! I will...
